Molise
So the adventure begins with Molise. I had in mind to visit some places down there and then another name (Sepino) was added after discussion with a friend. And, I think that’s how it’s always going to be. I will cross placenames off my list as and when I arrive at them but I am sure there will always be somewhere I have missed, or will miss. Just for the record, the places I am going to visit are:
Castelpetroso
Castel San Vincenzo
Sepino
Pietrabbondante
Campobasso and maybe …
Termoli.
I don’t know how it is for other travellers, but there is a sort of trepidation prior to booking and organising - will it all work, will there be any holds up or hitches? Will the bookings go through and so on? After the dates have been confirmed there is anticipation as you wait for the big day to arrive. I have booked two hotels: one in Isernia, very close to Castelpetroso and the other in Campobasso. The one in Campobasso is actually an entire apartment in the city centre so that will be a bit different. After what seems like an eternity in hibernation in Arpino, I want to get out and see all these places.
